This lovely tree is designed for intermediate or advanced canvas work stitchers. It is stitched on 18 count black mono canvas and has a stitch count of 146 x 145. That makes it about 8 inches from side to side.
For the blossoms I used all the #8 weight metallic threads that I had in my stash and used pearl cottons for the trunk and the leaves. Whatever you do is certainly your choice. No two trees are exactly alike.
This design can also be stitched on congress cloth (pictured sample is on grey congress coth) - adjust the threads to a size 4 (perle 8) to accommodate the smaller stitch count.
