Our 2026 Christmas tree is just simply ... simple. Lacy Jessicas, Smyrnas and Rhodes stitches create the framework for this lovely little tree design which can be stitched up in a night or two. Stitched on 18 count mono canvas, A Wedgewood Christmas has a finished size of approximately 2 1/2" x 5". It fits perfectly in a smaller off the shelf frame and is also perfect as a Christmas card insert.
A flexible design - A Wedgewood Christmas can be stitched in an infinite number of ways with a variety of different #8 weigh threads (DMC, metallic, etc). Light threads on dark canvas (red, black, blue) OR dark threads on light canvas (white, ecru).
All you need is a small piece of mono canvas (6" x 8"), two perle 8 weight threads and some 11/0 beads. This is a perfect stash buster project and offers a great way to use up smaller pieces of mono canvas.
